Mia is a sophomore pursuing her BSN at Adelphi University in New York. Her father, a perioperative nurse at Mount Sinai South Nassau, inspired her interest in nursing. In addition to being a full-time student, she also works part-time as a nurse aide at Mount Sinai, which has given her valuable insight into how different hospital departments function. Mia’s long-term goal is to earn her CRNA degree and become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, working in a hospital setting.
